On 1st December , JBCE Environment & Energy committee invited Mr Georg STRECK , Policy Officer, DG for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs.
He shared an introduction on chemical strategy for sustainability including REACH revision and the essential use concept.
In addition, He also introduced about restrictions roadmap and the grouping which is known concept for REACH restriction.
He suggested that intensive work on impact assessment, looking at different options and expected impacts.
We had a fruitful discussion through Q&A session.
JBCE Environment & Energy Committee will continue to follow up REACH revision and the restriction roadmap.
