On 20 April, Mr. Jiro Takashima, President of Japan Business Council in Europe, attended the EU Japan Business Round Table (BRT) in Tokyo.
There were 4 main themes at the BRT, (1) EU-Japan EPA, (2) DIGITAL and Data Economy, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, (3) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and (4) Regulatory Cooperation and Interoperability.
Mr. Takashima provided the presentation at the Themed discussion 3 about SDGs. In the presentation, he stressed the importance of continuous dialogues among stakeholders in the EU and Japan. And he express JBCE’s commitment to play an important role, such as organising the CSR Business Dialogue every year.
