The JBCE CSR Committee held its first meeting in London on 8 June 2017 to hear Marks & Spencer’s (M&S) initiatives in relations to the UK Modern Slavery Act.

The latter half of the Committee discussed the 11th OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains of 2-4 May 2017 (Ms. Hiraki of Panasonic Europe) and the Committee Chair’s proposal to apply for membership in the EU Multi-stakeholder platform on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in the European Union.
