On 13th October, 2015 JBCE A/C WG has held a meeting with Dr. Philippe Rivière from Mines Paris Tech on Smart appliances, in his capacity as one of the members of the project team carrying out the preparatory study for Lot33 on behalf of the European Commission (DG ENER).
With the support from “ECHONET Consortium”, which is one of the leading Japanese experts on Smart appliances, JBCE has presented some of the network protocol and product base cases drawing on the experience in Japan.
Using the example of these base cases, participants discussed about the interoperability and connectivity between the power grid and Smart appliances.
