Today JBCE provided our initial feedback to the proposed AI Act.
JBCE supports the objectives of setting a horizontal framework for trustworthy development, deployment and use of AI, however we would advocates finding an appropriate balance between regulation and innovation based on the clear definition of AI and responsibilities between providers and uses, the work on standards with International Organisations and so forth.
