On 21 October, JBCE organised an online workshop “EU-Japan Digital Cooperation: AI Governance, Innovation and Standardisation” at CEATEC.

The workshop included the keynote speech from high level policy makers of the EU and Japan and the panel discussion on AI where business representatives from four parts of the world had been invited in addition to the EU and Japanese policymakers.

It was a very useful workshop, taking into account the deepening of digital cooperation between the EU and Japan, as well as the developments and the views from various regions regarding AI governance.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of them.
