JBCE CSR Committee held the meeting on the Conflict Minerals

On 25 January, JBCE CSR Committee held the committee meeting and welcomed a guest from DG Trade, Mr. Rein Nieland who is the Policy officer at the Market Access, Industry and Raw Materials.

Mr. Nieland gave an update on the EU’s regulation of Conflict Minerals, which will enter into application on the 1^st of January 2021.

After the discussion, participants heard from the secretariat the report of EU-Japan Business to Business Dialogue and EU-Japan CSR working group which were held on 7^th and 8^th of November, 2016.
